Eastern Airways fly to Aberdeen 4 times a day on a Monday to Friday.
It'll be mainly Business travel- to do with Oil/North Sea.

There used to be flights to London a few years ago, but they failed due to lack of demand.

Ryanair starts daily flights to Dublin soon, if these are successful other airlines may show an interest.

The Dublin flights seem to be popular according to the Grimsby Telegraph. Supposed to be fairly well booked up.

Those flights to Aberdeen are too expensive. My mother flew there and it cost around £250.

You really have to go to Leeds/Bradford or Manchester, Luton or the London area to get anywhere, but Manchester is a 2 hour or so drive away from the Humberside airport area which is a total pain when you see these cheap flights and it takes longer to get across the country to the airport than it does to fly to where you want to go for example.

Doesn't Humberside have a relatively small catchement area? hence a lack of flights when combined with the local competition including Doncaster/Sheffield.
