We booked a flydrive on Virgin Holidays, basically because we didn't eant to pay upfront (UC price!). There is only space for 1 Flying Club number, so I emailed a query about the allocation of the miles, but they obviously don't know!
Do all the miles go on the one quoted number, or just half because there is only the one number? We are both members as I thought you had to be to both benefit!
Thanks

I recently asked a similar question and you are correct thet the FC miles go to the individual unless you are a gold card holder.

Just give VS both your numbers (against each passenger record). You will each earn miles for the flight that you each personally take.

You can't claim both sets of miles against one account - they have to go to each person. If VS can't do this upfront for you, just hand them the numbers at check-in.

This is a typical case of VH not knowing the VS system. I had a similar issue a few years back, as Paul says, if you give them both FC numbers then they will be able to amend the bookings accordingly as there will be space on each of your bookings for your FC number. Eventually I got it sorted and both myself and my friend received our FC miles for our flights booked with VH. I guess you have to appreciate that many VH staffers (not all!) do not know the VS flights side of things that well.

Thanks,
Sarah

Thanks. When I filled in the online forms on the VA website there was space to put both our numbers in individually. I guess this is what you mean.It is a lot of points to lose!!
