Hi guys,

I need your advice, i flew virgin LGW-LAS last week on PE and the tv wasn't working in my seat, the crew did their best to solve the problem but it just wouldn't work, in the end they gave me a portable DVD player but the choice of films wasn't great. Do you think i should complain to customer services?

I am sure it was not the end of the world, and you say the cabin crew did their best. However the TV should have been working of course. I would drop a note to FC and let them know that although the crew did their best, it was somewhat disappointing.

This has been discussed a few times before, I think this thread is the most recent.

There seems to be a boilerplate compensation for non working IFE, but if you were given a DVD player, I don't know if you would still get it.

Agree with all of the above but writing to FC can never hurt so I'd give that a go anyway!! Worst case you'll get a letter back and not much else - best case a few extra miles for your FC acount!!
