In the 90's when we used to fly LHR BOM on BA FC and dep was 2230 we ised to get dark blue colored sleeper suits which we could change into during flight.

Does VS give them same type of thing on overnight flights now? I flew 351 last May and didnt get anything of the sort. I see quite a bit on sleeper suits now so am a bit confused.

On day flights you have to ask for the Sleep Suit. Some people even report asking for them on night flights.

If you want a Sleep Suit, simply just ask the cabin staff for one. The will help you.

My only suggestion is to change into the Sleep Suit in the lav as some pass. change in their suite. To each there own I guess. Be certian to file a TR.

Does anyone know what is the largest size they offer the sleep suit in?

They come in small, medium and large. All the sizes are somewhat on the generous side. I am 6'4, and 16 stone - large is just fine for me. If one had 'invested' in one's mid-region even more than I had they would still fit just fine as they have an elastic waist (comfort band as I have seen it referred to in some shops-LOL) and drawstring.

(PS I got the spelling wrong on the first edition of this post and described the suits as having an elastic waste - now that would be worth designing!)

Salior99: Calorie-Enhanced is the term I fancy. Goes over better than fat. :)

Does BA offer XL and XXL in addtion to the VS sizes in there First cabin? They may need it to house there clients (egos).

Cuddly is a term I tend to use. Maybe "Beer-friendly" might be more accurate thought.

It's a shame they don't do XS and XXXXXXS, because I think Alto, Cumulo and I would look kinda cute all lined up in formation. And for some reason, no-one manufactures black pjs (ISTBC) for children, so I can't cheat!

PS You can thank Sailor99 for the names!

What are the sleepsuits made of?

Anyone have a photo, or are you too shy to show us?

They are currently black, you can take if off the aeroplane whether you wear it or not.

Hence the vast quantities that appear for sale on EBay [}:)][}:)]

I would add that they often go for silly prices as well. [:?]

The suits are quite comfortable for me; I am 6 feet, 4 inches tall and found the "L" an ample fit.
