I'm flying out from Sydney to London in 7 weeks time, i'm so nervous because i have not been in a plane for over 30 yrs and I;m travelling by myself, but i have been reading everything here and on the TR and i feel more relaxed, even had a good laugh at some of the stories. I picked Virgin Airlines because it's had a really great wrap here in OZ, i'm going with EC and I hope I wont be disappointed, but then again I have nothing to compare it with so that might be a bonus ;)

Thanks again for a great forum [y]

Well done to you for venturing forth on an aircraft after 30 years. [y] Have a terrific trip.

When boarding and settling into your seat I suggest you mention to the cabin crew that it is your first time after 30 years and you are a bit nervous and hopefully they will give you a little bit of extra attention. Enjoy your flight

Bev

Welcome to V-Flyer and thankyou for your kind comments :)

As HL says, when you do get on board do mention your situation to the cabin crew. Above all though enojoy your flight and enjoy London.

If you post your flights in the itinerary section of the forum, you might be lucky and find someone who would get you into the lounge at SYD or even the Clubhouses in HKG or LHR. I'm off to SYD/HKG soon, as are a few others on here.

Regards
