You may have noticed the forums have gone all weird.

Due to a pretty major problem, I've had to put this temporary code up while I try and sort out the issues.

Unfortunately this one doesn't have all the whistles and bells that the normal code has, but is only temporary and at least allows you to still see the forum while the problems are fixed.

Thought things looked a bit different :). Kind of a "retro" look.

Good luck with fixing it. Have you tried the large hammer yet?

Ack, doesn't sound good Pete - hope you can get it sorted soon with the minimum of hassle [:0]

In the meantime, since this code isn't as flashy as the usual stuff, I'd suggest to everyone that it's best any site problems are not posted for the time being - at least until Pete's had a chance to sort out the problems that occurred last night!

Cheers

Oh my!

And I thought Dean was having a nightmare this morning - powercut at the LHR CH. No hot food, no Spa. To get it all going they had to shutdown all the power - so no lights for a few minutes, apparently quite a good photo of that.

Also he can't get onto V-Flyer. The CH PC's work fine for other sites like DigitalSpy etc, but V-Flyer "Caused an error" and he can't get on to it.

Ah, i thought it was just the forums that went belly up - not the entire site. Will let him know.

Yeah, but its not quite telnet based is it. Oh how I miss the Monochrome BBS - happy days at college wasted on that.

Did you send me a message, Dave? Sorry, was in meetings most of the day as I'd been out of the office for four days. Maybe Yahoo me in a couple of hours if you're free?

I couldn't even get into the site...had to do a Google search for 'V-Flyer forums' as it wouldn't even get me in off a link when I searched just for 'V-Flyer'. Feel like an addict without a fix [:I]

I just wanted to add that, whilst this is slowing down our fun somewhat, I for one appreciate what you guys are doing behind the scenes to rectify things and improve the site.

Keep up the good work [^]
