Hey US Peps. Watch 'The Loop' on Fox tonight. Virgin Atlantic is the theme.
Well will write a full review but according to the show VS now flys ORD-HKG.
So The Loop is a new TV show on Fox about a young executive that works for an airline; TA Airlines IIRC. The airline is based in Chicago.
Basic blah dramic silliness. The chairman/president of TA Airlines says that the Crazy Richard Branson and Virgin Atlantic has 30 percent on the US-UK market and there airline has 4 percent and the Upper Class Suite. The young wipped snapper points out that VS offs a Sleep Suit, Bar, IFBT, and all the fun stuff you can read on VS.com. The chairman tells the young executive to fly to HKG to sample the new UCS and take pictures. They go to the airport and further promote VS with full VS boarding cards, staff and (get this) Priority Boarding signs. So half the show was a VS ad. And they showed a VS A340 taking off tho close the scene. Well he splits the ticket and flys PE, or so he thought.

I take it this is the episode, Ben?
Sam reconnects at the bar with Jolie, a girl he ditched on their third date. Meanwhile, Sam's boss Russ claims they're being beaten in the airline business by Virgin Airlines and Sir Richard Branson. Russ has assigned Sam to take the Virgin flight to Hong Kong and investigate all the first class amenities Virgin offers in order to beef up their own TransAlliance airline.
Investigate the first class amenities?? Do they have researchers at Fox?
Edit to quickly backtrack, because that is from a TV listings website, so may not be taken directly from the Fox press release. [:I][:I]

At work the next day, Russ rants about Sir Richard Branson and his Virgin Airlines, which apparently has thirty percent of the Atlantic market compared to his four. Sam suggests the disparity could be in part because VirginÕs first class and upper class amenities are pretty cool -- massages, beds, PJs and an all-around Òsexy vibe.Ó Russ orders Sam to buy an Upper Class ticket and go on an espionage mission on Virgin on tonightÕs flight to Hong Kong. UmÉ okay. Meryl wonders whatÕs wrong and Sam confides that he has a date he really canÕt blow off. Guy or girl? What?
