I've been using an Alpha Telecom call card for Hotel-to-Home etc phone calls when travelling abroad, and whilst they've been good for US to UK calls, they're now a total rip-off when calling elsewhere.

So.... what are the recommendations for good-value call cards (mainly for Asia/PAC and US use)? I do use Skype/VoIP when I can, but still need a call card on occassions.

Thanks,

Viz.

I have a 'pay as you go' mobile for over there, but still use the AT&T cards to phone home every now and again.

they used to be sold everywhere, but now they are much harder to get hold of as most people have got their own mobiles.

Best Buy still sell them though. Don't know how they compare to other cards pricewise, but they are better than using a hotel phone. ;);)

Try the Walmart AT&T cards, they're usually good value, and can be topped up with a credit card via a freephone number, if you run out while you are still in a 'usage' zone.
