Quick question for you gurus on here about twilight check in at LGW.

My g/f, parents and I are flying to Vegas in September so me and my misses can tie the knot in the grand canyon. We have already reserved out seats on the flight out (all economy) but my folks want to try for exit row seats, so we are going to try and do twilight checkin the day before for this. Problem is my g/f won't check her bag as she wants to use stuff in it in the morning so we still have to que.

What I wanted to know is, if we all use twilight checkin to get out boarding passes and check all the bags, but keep my g/fs bag, can we drop this bag of at a bag drop like with OLCI the following morning to avoid queuing?

Hope that makes sense [?]

Thx

You can always drop the last bag the next day, just use the DIY bag drop.
(where the OLCI people drop their bags)

Super thats what I was hoping :)

Any idea how late you need to DIY bag drop? I think we'll still be there 2-3hrs before the flight even with using twilight check in, just wanted to know thats all.

I think the main issue is getting through security! [:o] at LGW south terminal sometimes the queues are um..... lengthy.

Thx guys. Final question, does anyone know of people who have had there bags lost because of TLCI as my misses is paranoid now because it will have our wedding clothes in, and doing it this was would be an extra 12hrs for VS to loose the bags... Silly I know..

When me and the wife flew to Mauritius with B-A for our wedding they let us take the wedding clothes in to the cabin they were then stowed in the cabin wardrobes. I would ask V-S if they would do this for you.
Have a lovley wedding

Cheers Wayne
