Luckily Im flying on Virgin Atlantic and I was wondering what the flight would entail for me. Im leaving around 6:00 am in the morning Eastern time arriving around 7:30pm in the English timezone. Does anyone know what I should bring with me? What will happen in different stages of flight?(Like are lights dimmed for a portion of flight) Anything else that you'd like to add or advise feel free.
Cheers,

Hey there and welcome to the site. It'd help if you advised class of travel? Also your flight timetable seems a little weird - do you know your flight number?

The only one that'd come close to that would be the new VS26 - 07:30 : 19:10 [?]

Hi there, Im crew for VS, firstly if your flying in the very near future you will be able to spread across 4 seats on the VS 26 as the flights are wide open at the mo as they only started on the 1st of July. Secondly although it will be day light all the way across the Cabin Cervice Supervisor should dim the cabin lights after the breakfast and drinks service. you will then get ice cream hlf way through the flight and a snack about 1 and a half hours prior to landing.

Enjoy

Ah thanks are you like a member of the airline? If so thanks. I feel very comfortable being on three seats in a plane but the space will be good. Since Im a young person. I know this is small stuff but can I not take a child amenity pack and go witht he adult one? Or is there like a policy?

The K-id packs are only given out ex the UK. They are not loaded on the flights from any other destination. However on your return to JFK you can try and charm the ground staff to see if they will give you a pack. If your on the VS26 in the very near future I may well be one of your Crew! [^]
