Recieved my pin this morning, what a waste of paper that was, if they intend to keep it the same as the M/C pin!!

Hurry up card, I got some spending to do [8D]

My Pin arrived today too and it hasn't changed. Just hoping the card arrives by Friday so I can do some serious spending in the US.

What a waste of money, the boyfriends and my pin arrived today still the same ones. Plus don't you think they're stupid those peel back, scratch and turn over onto white paper things - I can barely see them and find it easier to read on the reverse!!!!

You reminded me of the time I went to Dixons to buy a GBP9.99 hand mixer. The idiot behind the desk couldn't understand why I didn't want to buy the GBP12.99 Dixons insurance package to go with it!!!

I called MBNA yesterday to change over the card. They said they would post a new one out, but I'm not convinced. Not overly impressed that it is changing to AMEX and I certainly wont' be able to use it in Kosovo[:?]

Had my pin today too -couldn't understand why MBNA were sending me a reminder of my Virgin MC . No branding on the letter etc to indicate it was the pin for the new Virgin Amex.

Maybe she better 'test' it during a shopping tour; New York, Las Vegas, San Fancisco, Hong Kong...

And the UC/ SQ J tickets; for the baggage allowance, naturally.

In the T&C's for the new Amex card, it says "We can't swap reward points for Flying Club miles. To get Flying Club miles, you need to take out and use a Virgin Atlantic American Express
Credit Card from MBNA."

What am I missing - the current MC card generates points, which are transferred as miles each month to your FC account? Or are there other "rewards" available on the MC?

There is also a Virgin/MBNA mastercard that rewards with member shop points. Not sure what the member shop has, but this was the alternative to a flying club mastercard.

I gather then from the last few posts that the supplementary card holders are coming out automatically. Thank goodness for that otherwise the other half would have had a fit not being able to spend anything till it arrived...
