Hi,

I'm travelling to Vegas in September to get married (yey) but only need a car for part of the trip. We are staying at THEHotel at Mandalay Bay so we thought we would hire the car thru Dollar and set the pickup point to Mandalay Bay as its available on thier site.

The question is though, if you do this is the car actually ready for you to collect at Mandalay or do Dollar bus you to the airport location pickup point and you drive the car back?

Thx,

Andy

Hi Andy

We did a similar thing last year with Dollar, but at Treasure Island.
The car was waiting at the hotel for us, so I would presume it would be the same at Mandalay Bay.

Hope this helps a bit,

Richard.

'On Site' in the USA may just mean a 10 minute bus ride...

Most of the big hotels in town have rental car places in them, the cars are stored in the parking garage on site in most cases.

Looking for a four day hire this August either direct from the airport or picking up next day at the hotel. Best rates I've come across so far are with Dollar through Airline Network (luxury car £115 fully inclusive for 4 days). Any other tips or things I should consider?

I usually use Airline Networks but for my trip to SFO in august I found carhire3000 to be cheaper and they are using Dollar as the supplying agent. Might be worth a look.

Thx for your help everyone. makes me feel better that its in the hotel now. My g/f and mom are going to the spa for some treatments the day before we get hitched so me and my dad are gonna sort the car out instead.

Should be fun!
