I have been reading some reviews in preparation for my first WT+ flight next month, and from what I've been reading, World Traveller Plus passengers still have to check in in the normal World Traveller line. Is this true, or just outdated? It would be a bit dissapointing if it's true. Also, now that I'm thinking of it, do BA 767s have the new WT+ seats with PTVs?

Nope - no seperate check-in.

They're also doing the whole "you're encouraged to check in online" thing.

Pretty sure all WT+ seats have a PVT regardless of A/C type. I wasn't aware there were new WT+ seats anywhere though [?]

Last time I was in Terminal 4 (May) the on line check in queue was longer than the normal economy queue.

I'm a sceptic on OLCI, as to what benefit there is for me, or the airline (BA or VS)!

There is no new WT+ seat persay, it's just that the 767 has had the old interior for a while, and I wasn't sure whether they had begun to recieve upgrades to the current one.

Yep, I'll be in Yorkshire and Northamptonshire.

Oh, and thanks for your replys. As I said, it's disapointing, especially when VS has a seperate check-in for PE. I probably will do OLCI simply so I can choose my family's seats/see what aircraft I'll be on.

Hmm, I was born in Yorkshire and lived most of my childhood years in Northamptonshire ... are we related?

Well, unless your name was Maclean at some point, probably not.

Having flown WT+ twice in the last 2 weeks, there was definitely no separate check-in. We used the on-line check in facility and on each occasion the fast bag drop queue wasn't too horrendous. If this works well it is a much better option than standing in a long economy line me thinks!:D

I guess it must depend on which airport you are checking in at.As I said above LAX has a dedicated check in for WT+

Is LAX the only airport that has this facility Jetwet? If so can you tell me why this is?

Okay. I was a little hesitant on doing OLCI because everytime I have done it with VS we end up waiting for about 10 minutes for the DIY staff to stop serving the normal passengers. It's really awkward.

As I wandered through LHR T4 last Friday I noticed quite a number of WT+ dedicated check-in desks.
