Nice one Seppy [y]

Phil and I actually tried to book at 11:55pm the night it finished. When we hit the submit button at 12:02, BA refused the fare (still under discussion).

If they had (or indeed, still do) honored the fare, you'd have two more dark-siders joining you [:0]

Paul - there may be a little confusion over two offers: The BA Summer Sale has finished, but the Travel shop offer (click here) is still on. The FT thread about it suggests it's open till 31 Jul, although I can't see dates for the offer on the site.

I'm still seeing the Travel shop offer of £400 off CW flights on a number of dates and destinations - give it a try!

Best wishes

Hi David,

Yup - that was all clear. It was the combination of the summer sale that ended at midnight on the 11th, along with the BATS £100 discount that we were trying to make use of. (ie: £160 to Boston!)

Unfortunately, BA are being quite hard-nosed about it. Despite providing the quote and getting to the "confirm" page before midnight, since we didn't hit "submit" until after, they won't honor the price. [n]

Anyway, life's too short - over it ;)

Yes I can confirm the offer is open for booking received up until the end of July and covers flights (but not all routes it seems) up until the end of March 2007

Yup just booked a long weekend in Toronto. Flying in club and it was £500 each way. Well plus the taxes, still quite a bargin considering the prices from other airlines! [y]

First time in NCW, should be interesting

Doesn't seem like the best attitude to present to customer, does it? Smacks of smugness and complacency. I'll also be schlepping over to the BA site, so thanks from me as well DUK/. [:X]
