Whilst idling perusing the Itineraries Forum I noticed that it appears that at least two LHR configured aeroplanes have been servicing LGW routes. One of these seems to be a clerical error, as G-VOGE Cover Girl apparently flew to both ANU and LAX on 16th July (now that's working your capital:)), but G-VROC Mustang Sally has serviced LGW-BGI in July. Anyone any idea why this was ?

Given the differences in traveller profile (greater number of PE passengers on the BGI route) and the aeroplane configuration (fewer PE seats than normal for the route) I wonder if some got unexpected upgrades ?

G-VLIP was damaged on pushback earlier in the month, I think that a LHR config 744 was re-positioned to cover. Also, a LHR config 744 run the MBJ inuagural earlier in the month...;)

Now in the database, with G-VROC apparently used on the first two flights.

Reminds me of a joke about hell that has the punchline "Tea break's over lads, back to headstands..."

Never mind, so long as I get the service I've paid for I don't mind...and v:Port's over-rated ;)
