My statement didn't show any miles either. However - I just checked my balance with VS and my monthly spend has been credited plus the 10,000 bonus miles ;)

[y] for MBNA for making it happen so quick. :D I cannot quite believe that they have been credited so fast. I had a feeling it would be a case of having to battle for them over the telephone for weeks on end.

MBNA have certainly gone up in my estimations. ;)

Received mine and the 10,000 bonus today. Now just got to check that the Amex miles were at 4 X the spend and the M/C at 2 X.

Just checked my account and nearly 19K miles added. Now need to check if it's the correct amount as I hadn't had any miles credited since beginning of June for both fee and non fee card. Reminds me - I must spend an insignificant amount on the white card just to get the extra miles. Thanks.

Jilly

Thanks

Just checked the tuther half's balance - She has the 10,000 bonus in the bank also. It looks like the 6 miles per £1 for VS/VH payments worked aswell. :D

Are the bonus miles shown separately or lumped together with the credit card spend miles?
#130064 by mitchja

They are lumped together as one transaction:

01 Aug 2006 VAA Credit Card Spend 10,077 0

Got the x4 rate (although rounded down) as I've spent £19.49 on my broadband this month on my new card.

Miles credited here also! Fantastic!

Less fantastic, is that the rest of the miles after the 10k dont reflect my expenditure for the month, so i am guessing a lot of my miles have been 'lost' during the MBNA/AmEx switch.

Thanks,
Sarah

Interesting. I got my 10060 (where did the 60 come from?) today too......Even though I got my credit card, never used it, and returned it to their MD on the day I got it with a snotty note. Not that I am complaining or anything :).

Then later today I got 123 miles from VAA credit card. Now where did they come from?

Same here. More miles than normal 2x spend, but not enough to include 10k bonus.

Just checked my VS account and also have had my 35,500 miles credited.:D

I rang amex a few weeks ago to see if they could give me the actual change over date from the old Mastercard and the guy said he thought it was 8th July I applied for the card on the Monday it came out (3rd)

So I set about working out my miles but wasn't quite sure about wether they round up from 50p or not. So to be on the safe side I rounded down to the nearest £ and worked it out to be 35,156 including my 10K bonus plus my VS holiday at 6 times the rate. So i'm quite happy with their calculation [y]

Wood7 All the miles are together as VAA Credit Card Spend no seperate line for the bonus miles

Regards

I believe they round down, so a £19.99 transaction will give you 19 miles. All my transactions on the m/c are prefixed with a # on my on line statement, so you should be able to work out which is on what card. :)

23,578 miles for a £3515.65 spend -so I thought I'd try and work out how where they all came from - and quickly gave up on that idea!!

lets wait and see what the statements look like

I thought the ones prefixed with # would be the AMEX ones, ie. all those on my statement prefixed with # are the later transactions rather than the earlier ones?

It's certainly the m/c ones that have the # on my transactions. How strange! [?]
