Do you still have your boarding cards? If so, send them into Flying Club, with a miles claim (which you can print from the VS website). If not, you may need to contact FC for instructions (maybe they can suggest something you can get off AmWest)

America West (USAir now) are infamous for not being able to get VS FC #'s registered. Hang on those boarding passes and mail them in--VS FC will remedy this only if they have proof you flew.

arrgghhh!

I booked my recent America West flight through expedia.co.uk and added flying club number as part of the booking - miles credited within days no problem. Fare was slightly cheaper too!

My bookign was via expedia and for some reason my flying club number did not make it.

bizarre

In that case the only thing I can think of is sending in the boarding passes.

Yup, send the boarding passes back to The Office - or your eticket if you have a copy of that. I have claimed for HP flights before and the miles came through very quickly from VS.

You can claim for missing miles online if its a VS flight (under the 'Manage Your Account' section of the VS website), but for partner airlines you need to send in your boarding stub or proof of flight.

Thanks,
Sarah

Ok, let me check I have the boaring pass etc. I have a feeling the number of miles I will get is not worth all this trouble but I hate to not get them.

Miles are miles .... Its not that much trouble, just a letter with your flight details and your boarding stub in the post, the guys up at The Office are usually great at sorting these claims out so you wont have to wait long.

Thanks,
Sarah

I must do that too. We asked SQ to add our FC numbers to our recent HKG-SIN-HKG trip. We have had the miles and TPs for our outbound journey but not the return. This is crucial as it requalifies us for Gold [:0]

And they get credited in mere seconds :)
