I have just OLCI for the return leg of my brownie point run - where the whole point is that Mrs JohnD can sit up front / turn left - and the seat map for the VS10 seems to be indicating a NON UCS formation !!!![:(!]

Can anybody confim?

I can understand your concerns JohnD.

Well it's not impossible but there is only one non-UCS a/c in the fleet and it is unlikely to be used on the VS10.

Current movements indicate the non-UCS a/c is limited to the Indian / LAS routes and VS10 hasn't seen any non-UCS in recorded memory - 3 months.

Phil

P.S. Have just checked Expertflyer for the outbound VS9 today and that also is showing non-UCS config. Hope someone can confirm a/c being for outbound VS9 - but maybe a couple of hours before this is confirmable.

I am the portal of doom.

VS9/VS10 today are showing as G-VAEL. You are, therefore, most unfortunate. I can't say why that's the case, I don't work for VS, and can't tell anything other than the aircraft reg.

However, if you're travelling as a pair, sometimes J2000 has it's advantages.

John - You have my sympathies, but this would be my plan.

Call VS, If you can't get yourself to JFK as early as you can and try and get yourself on flight 46 leaving at 19.50. It costs you around an hour and a half of you break but if your desperate want to get a suite you may get a shot at getting re-booked.

Also, look into the possibility of getting onto the 744 service out of EWR at approx 21.00 if JFK is not an option. You can catch one of the shuttle buses across to Newark easily and still enjoy time in the CH without rushing.

You would be unlucky if both flights have no availability in Upper, I'm sure that VS would be helpful as New York is supposed to be an all UCS route.

Good luck and keep us posted with a TR.......... ;)

Excellent suggestions.
