I'm looking at having to fly from Seoul to Mumbai, and with a supplier to see in Singapore I am planning on flying SQ ICN-SIN-BOM-SIN-ICN.

The way I read the TP earnings is that I will get 5 TP's per leg over 2000 miles on SQ. Meaning I will get 20 points for the entire route.

Is my understanding correct and the whole round trip (with an overnight in SIN on the outbound, and maybe a week in SIN on the return) count as 4 seperate legs, or will I need to be creative with booking what are effectively seperate tickets?

Having just reached Silver (+ a bit) I am 21 TP's away from Gold, and I will get the 1 point on my return to the UK at Christmas, so as you can imagine getting this Mumbai trip right is very important!

Looks right to me on the Tier Point count, as long as they all seperate flight numbers. (i.e. ticketed as ICN-SIN-BOM not ICN-BOM (via SIN) on one flight prefix.)

Thanks,
Sarah

Thanks Sarah,

From the SQ website booking engine it shows as four different flight numbers, though I must be careful to avoid the codeshares operated by Asiana.... which are sadly at more convenient times.
