Following your advice re my flight to JFK (VS3) in February i tried looking up seat reviewe's for the A340 which is the plane showing on the booking, but could'nt find any for the seats we have have been given.
We have got 37A & B and 38A & B.
Just woundering if anyone has any previous history of these sats as my good lady does'nt like flying and really wants a window this time !!!!
Just a quickie as well, will the plane stay as a 340 or could it change ????

Hi Newboy,

There are 2 different types of A340 a/c the A340-300 or the A340-600, so firstly you will need to find out which one you are on (it is most likely the A340-600 or A346 as it is also known as the A343 does not have a row 38). If you look Here and select the A346 (Old config) you will see other V-flyers ratings for variousseats, so you can decide if you like the ones you have or if you want to change them (if you can), remember that Exit row seats are chargable by Virgin and you cannot pre-select these (obviously not all seats have ratings but if you look for similar seats (ie window or middle etc, it will give you an idea of what to expect as they are all similar).

Virgin do change which type of aircraft is operating each flight from time to time, so if you keep checking the "manage my bookings" section on the Virgin Atlantic site it will show you which a/c is currently down for your flight, although it could change right up until the last minute

Newboy,

If its the A346, and you are referring to the empty seat ratings on our page, try the one for the old config - the rating are all there. The config changes were really to represent the extension of Premium.

2876 Moth - Fantastic contribution there pal! :)
