Does anyone have any info on this route? Can't find anything elswhere on this route.
I am travelling on 17/11/06 VS603 in PE.
Any ideas of type of aircraft, flight times and is it likely to have the new PE seats?
Can i try and get exit row seats when i check in?

Hi Andy and welcome to V-Flyer,

1 - The aircraft planned is an Airbus A340-600. Flight time to CPT is 12 hours. Currently UC has 1-2 seats left, PE is sold out and Y has a reasonable number of seats left on sale.

2 - You will have approx a 50/50 chance of the new seats in PE with the current number of a/c that have been re-fitted.

3 - Row 18 is a bulkhead, you don't have to pay to get these. They can only be allocated at desk check in on the day. If you are travelling in Y exit row seating is £75 per person on the A346.

CPT is a top city - Dependent on the approach, have you camera ready as some great shots of the city are potentially available....:D

Does anyone know if you still have to use those pouffes in the exit row seats, like on the A343s (have never used an exit row on a -600)?

VS.

Thanks Tallprawn.[y]
Any idea what time before the flight check in opens so i can try and bag a bulk head seat?
Do you get much extra space with the bulk head seats on row 18?

Hi Andy,
VS check-in is open for all flights from LHR as of 06.00 in the morning. The earlier you arrive the better chance you have of grabbing something in row 18.

Row 18 does have extra space, I wouldn't say it's a massive amount - But that is coming from someone who's 6"4....:D
