OK thinking of doing a short trip to SIN and then on to KUL for a few days, thinking about 7-10 days in total for both.

One of the things I have seen a direct flight from MAN-SIN which would be great, the only reservations I have is is we dont get the "transformer" seats or spacebeds. Now i see its run by a 777-200 which after a bit of googling should be the spacebeds as they are on the 777-200ER which according to my calcs is the only one with the range to do MAN-SIN.

Is SIN-KUL still a valid route for F TP accumulation? As I would love to see KUL whilst I am near.

And finally I suppose what does everyone think is a reasonable amount of time to do SIN and KUL? Also hotels and fun stuff to do would be most appreciated!

Looking at Ringway Reports it looks like SQ use a B772 on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun and a B744 on Tues & Thurs for the MAN>SIN route.

You can still earn VS TP's on the SIN-KUL route.

I'd personally base myself in KUL rather than SIN as KUL hotel prices are a fraction of SIN ones. You can get a top-notch 5 star hotel (ie Hilton or MO) for around £100 a night (or less)

Before any further discussion takes place on certain F routes, I'll just add this link for your reference (and in advance of any editing we may need to do):

There is already a big thread in the ClubHouse forum with pretty much all you could ever want to know about that - that thread can be found here

The Tues and Thurs flights operated by the 744 go via ZRH. The other days of the week are on the 772 as highlighted by James, these are the direct services.

As for the spacebeds - ISTBC, but I'm sure that MAN gets them.

SQ and MH aligned the pricing earlier in the year, you now have no benefit from starting from KUL other than the hotel pricing as mentioned by James.....:D
