, but does anybody know if it's possible to get a flight from anywhere around London to St Just Aerodrome, Penzance, Cornwall or where I might find such information???
Thanks.
Other than charter a hellicopter or plane from a London airport. The only options I can think of are as follows:
>>> Air Southwest flight from LGW to Newquay then hop onto the Skybus and fly to Scilly before flying from Scilly to LEQ.
>>> Air Southwest from LGW to NQY then onto Scilly before getting hellicopter back.
>>> Air Southwest flight from LGW to Newquay and then drive to Penzance. 40mins drive.
>>> Ryanair flight from STN to Newquay and either of the two above options.
>>> Train from Paddington to Penzance.
>>> Overnight First Great Western Sleeper service to Penzance.
Look at

http://www.isleofscillyhelicopter.com or google it.
It is expensive though- the Scilly Skybus is £85 for a day trip from Penzance and its a 15min flight!
It is 5 hours-6hours on train from Penzance, by the time you have driven to LGW checked in etc got to Newquay hired a car and driven to Penzance you might as well jsut sit on the train. You can get a fast from Paddington which is limited stopping and often includes a full sit down restaurant car. So if I was you I would get the train and then go and visit the airfield on arrival hehe!
