I am flying PE on A346 and was hoping to get seats in row 18 A/C or H/J.
What is my best tactic?
Should i use olci, (i have seats right in front of the W/C)and try and change the seats at the airport or wait and check in normaly and try and get them there?

There is no harm in using OLCI, it will improve your chances of getting the seats you want - unless they exit rows. For exit rows the checkin staff need to see you. So in that case check in nice and early and book into the ServisAir lounge or somewhere if you want some better comfort instead of the general departures area.

If you use OLCI you can still drop your bags at PE checkin.

As Mat has already said, why not use OLCI to confirm the seats you currently have and then when you get to the airport, still use the PE check in and see if you can move to Row 18 (which is a Bulkhead and any available for allocation at the airport), I have done this before no problems, obviously the earlier you get the airport the more chance you have of getting Row 18.

Just one other thing I forgot to mention, depending on which flight you are on and how early you check in, the check in staff might say that Row 18 is still blocked, but if you ask them to check if it can be unblocked they should make a call and get it unblocked which will then allow you to be allocated them (if they are still free).

Thats a tough one, it all depends on how much you want Row 18 and how much time you are prepared to be waiting at the airport before your flight. If it were me I would say maybe 3-4hrs before your flight, but that just my personal opinion on it, you should do whatever suits you best.

Have a good flight.
