Well, all good things, for some annoying reason, must come to an end. The mdviponds' tour of the western States is all but complete. Sat here in the SFO Clubhouse, champers by my side. This Clubhouse really is the dog's dangly bits, isn't it? Typicaly San Fran, laid back, classy, comfortable. Ah well, 2 hours or so to boarding - think I may follow up the champagne with an Anchor Steam...

Have a great time in the Clubhouse[y][y]

Only two hours - this simply is not enough time[:w][:w]

BTW you must ask for a blue drink - it is a V-flyer tradition;);)

Ah! That Anchor Steam did the trick. Blue drink, you say...? I shall enquire at the bar forthwith. Food was OK. No halibut though. Club sandwich, soup, couple of salads - bit limited to be honest, but tasty enough. FAB came in about 10 mins ago - lovely, lovely V-Port - so I get to try for Triv King of the Plane again!

Ah, I have my first visit to the SFO clubhouse coming up in a couple of days... looking forward to it in a 'one last nice thing before my holiday is over' kind of way...

Oh my word. Blue Drink. Very nice indeed. Two more and I think my triv championship attempt may be severely hampered...

I am due to fly to SF on Dec 2nd, and back on the 8th. On the way out, I qualify for Gold, so I'll be able to see first hand the SFO club house. Looking forward to it !

I saw you guys leave last night - I was stood on Alameda beach just after 5pm, when G-VFAB passed overhead! ;)

Cheers!

Cool. I was in 6K - did you see me waving?

The Blue Drink must have worked, by the way. Managed 6th on the leader board for the trivia championship. Forgot to take a pic though, so next time anyone finds themselves on FAB, look out for 'MDV' and possibly take a quick photo for me for posterity ;)

You're right.. the SFO Clubhouse IS lovely indeed...

AND, we're the only two people here at the moment! The UC load is very light on today's VS20..

Two blue cocktails in preparation.

Thanks Nick... we'll try!

Hic! That mcuth blue is a potent mix.. I've had two, and along with the few glasses of chardonnay I've consumed, I feel absolutely smashed.

Probably is NOT the time to tell you this, but good ol' blue stuff has a teeny problem the morning after. If you have enough of it, it produces a hangover you shall never forget. Tastes delicious, and innocuous, but kicks like a (fill in name of preferred nuke here)!

I do hope you're having a bit of a lazy day and not working tomorrow, as you may not feel up to it.
[:I]*(hic)* The voice of experience[:I] Never again!

From experience also I can guarantee you will have a splendid flight home! If you remember it, that is![}:)]

Do you think it would have even 50% the same effect if you're travelling at the back of the bus ? If yes, what's the recipe ?;)
