Mile earning with Emirates

Hi all,

Am likely to be flying with Emirates and/or Sri Lankan next year and just wondered what the best way to earn miles to move to FC would be? They both operate the Skywards program.

Have to say, I've asked the same question of myself and I haven't found a way. Using Expert Flyer or Web Flyer I haven't found a track to convert them, let alone wonder at how poor the conversion rate is. Be interested if anyone else can find a way?

My flights are now booked with Sri Lankan, so nows the question, do I sign up for Skywards or would there be a better option, given that the chances of flying with Emirates/Sri Lankan again is slim.

i'm in exactly the same position. Just booked up some great value Emirates flights in J for a holiday in Africa. I've tried to work out a route, ut can't find one. I actually signed up for Skywards this morning.

Well you could earn miles on EK and spend on VS if you were a Velocity member (Virgin Blue's FFP).

Also UA but good luck actually getting the miles posted.
