Baggage woes at BA

More poor publicity for BA, hope no one is affected by this but it does seem from colleagues that missing bags have been a little more frequently mentioned of late than for a while. Link here

The spokesman added that the problems coincided with the introduction of new working practices for baggage handlers at Terminal One and Four.

That's certainly going to cost BA quite a bit.Whilst typing this, my finger almost accidentally missed the A key and hit the S;)[}:)]

I was impacted by this one. On our 17th Dec flight to PHL from LHR T4 almost 75% of PAX did not receive baggage as the belt in T4 decided to stop working. The handlers started to carry it manually downstairs but eventually gave up and all PAX were ushered into the "temporary" tents which now seem to be permanent.[:0]

I got my luggage delivered to my home on boxing day - 9 days later via New York (I was only in Philly for 2 days)[:o)]
