Hey,

Just been through this site and wha a wealth of knowledge! What I wanted to know is whether my plane to Vegas in couple of weeks will have V Port or not?? Is there a way of finding out beforehand??

If the answer to above is no, is there a way of finding out the Jan movies on atlantic westbound? I ask as I have been to the inflight entertainment section of site but it just lists around 60 movies which i am guessing is for V Port as I only got 10 movies last month to and from Orlando?!

Thanks,

Nick

Hi and Welcome to V-Flyer[y][y]

Sorry your flight to Vegas will not have V-Port. Only the a/c the operate our of LHR are currently fitted with this service, your flight ex LGW will either have Odyseey or Nova IFE system fitted.

This page on the Virgin Atlantic website lists which films are showing at the moment, but obviously you will only get a selection of these films on your flight. The only other option to find out is if another member has currently flown ex LGW/MAN and they may be able to tell you what was showing.

Did you check the What aircraft will i be on function. as there is no definitieve answer to wich a/c you will fly on this databse helps alot. im sorry the chances of you getting V:port are non existent unless a LHR config plane is at LGW that day. at the moment only heatrhow has got V:port but there has been a promise by SRB to roll it out onto LGW and MAN metal. i dont really know how to check what is on that flight but im sure some fellow V-flyers will assist you[y]

Thanks for replies guys.

Odyssey or Nova it is then........when I flew to Orlando before XMas the plane going had Nintendo and phone you could take outta seat..........coming back it didnt have Nintendo or phone and looked alot older (in fact it looked VERY old). Which one of those is Nova as I presume one of them is newer than the other??

Thanks again,

Nick

Odyseey will of been the IFE you had on your outbound and Nova will of been on your Inbound. Odyseey is the better system.

We've never had Vport on LGW flights only on LA.

V-Port is not normally available out of LGW unless a plane from LHR for some reason is deployed there, which can happen from time to time

In fact when I flew to Barbados last year I had Vport in both directions so you could be lucky.
