BBC News Story

Celine Dion is bringing her Vegas finishing her residency in Vegas at the end of the year. I'm sure I can think of a few V-Flyers who will be most upset by this.

Tickets for the final shows go on sale 1st March.

Dean and I were chatting the other night, I wounder how much they would offer Michael Jackson to do a residency. An absolute fortune no doubt! But I bet he'd sell out every night.

Jason, my condolences. Should we try and organise a V-Flyer gathering so you can give her a send off? I'm sure Dave will be happy to make the arragements.... ;)

(Right, I'm off, before Dave catches me..)

Now, IMHO, one of his concerts WOULD be worth another trip to Las Vegas [^]

I'm just about coping with this news, but it's not been easy. Signed off work for a few days while I take it all in....

The send-off sounds great, but I may get a bit teary...[:#]

just saw Celine front row centre stage, she actually spoke to him indoors, wow.

Michael J has reportedly made a flying visit to vegas last week for a business meeting, though I think his friend Mr.Trump is after booking him when the new tower is finished. I will be back to Vegas quick as a flash if MJ takes residence. The guys very odd, innocent and a genious in my book and being aquitted 10 times in a row is justice to me, leave the guy alone, I hope he performs again soon..

Damn it, oh well when you have such a nice guy as Jason, it's hard to find something to pull his leg about, with Celine going all that will be left are the lawyer jokes [:#].

Maybe the Quo could take up residency at Caesars... [}:)]

I'm not a massive fan of MJ, but I think even I would be tempted to see him there, otherwise I'm waiting for Elton to be on when i'm there..

When we lived in LV, I bought my wife a ticket to see Elton John at Caesar's - it was apparently a great show, but a bit on the short side as there was no opening act. He was on stage for 90 minutes and my wife was back home by 10.30!!!! Not much to show for >$200.[V]
