I have return flights booked with Continental later this year. The online booking confirmation for Continental offer Virgin Flying Club as an option on Frequent Flier Information.

Can I earn Virgin Flying Club miles flying on Continental?

Is it possible to transfer miles in One-Pass to the VAA FC?

Thanks.

Yep, but your not going to like the conversion rate, take a look here

You end up losing 70% of the miles on the transfer.

Oh, you are a God amongst mortals!

Having vowed never to step foot on a continental flight ever again, I now have a route of getting my miles :-)

Hey, I wouldn't go that far! So, smarty pants, how do I transfer more than 25K miles in a year then (The amtrak scheme only allows 25K points per year transfer)....!

I would see if I could get one account with the name MR Woggle Dog and a second account using the name Mr Woggle B Dog, with say a work address, if it works you get 50K a year transfer.

Edit: I just took a look at the amtrak rewards site, it's not to shabby, I am guessing if you do say NYC - Washington a bit you could easily rack up some nice rewards.

I tried the link but the convertor wouldn't let me do Onepass -> Flying Club, are you sure it will work? I asked this question a while ago and the response was that it is not possible to transfer miles from CO to VS.

Continental OnePass converts to (starting) 10,000
Amtrak Guest Rewards (at a ratio of 1:1) converts to 10,000
Hilton HHonors (at a ratio of 1:2) converts to 20,000
Virgin Atlantic flying club (at a ratio of 10000:1500) Total: 3,000

Can you not just use continental miles things other than flying with them? Conversion rate seems extreme.

I think people have mentioned before that 20,000 hilton points gets you a lot more than 3,000 virgin miles
