Hi,

I have just read 'AtlanticFlyer's fantastic trip report. I wondered when the new economy seats would be fitted in the LGW fleet?

I'm flying to Las Vegas in Sept and wondered (well hoping really) if they would be in by then.

(they sound much nicer!)

They will be fitted at the same time as they fit V-Port and supply the uC pax with an IFBT [:o)][:o)][:o)][:o)][:o)]

I thought that V-s had scheduled the start of the L.G.W v-port and cabin refit for commencement on the 30th of February.[?]

It's been posted elsewhere that the Wcl re-fit will be finished shortly, is the Y re-fit keeping pace on the 346's ? :D

Do we have an updated list of which aircraft are still waiting?

This thread details the Ycl and Wcl refits. It is being updated as we go, but obviously only through word of mouth passed on by V-Flyers and Crew. If anyone has any amendments, please do let James or I know so we can update accordingly.

Thanks,
Sarah

Hi HF,

Good time being had on the other side of the pond I take it! :D

Calling on all insiders, we could do with an update as I think the info we have goes back to Novemeber. I'm fairly sure that a few re-fits have taken place since then, anyone have the info to share....:)

Im (sadly) not aware of any Y re-fits taking place as yet... all a/c with the new Y seats were delivered with them. Hopefully that will be part of the Y re-launch but i fear the much needed Y seats are a long way off! There are only 4 of the 18 a346 a/c without the new W seats - GVATL (miss kitty), GVSSH (sweet dreamer), GVWIN (lady luck), GVFIT (dancing queen) according to our staff website today!

When I flew to vegas on the 7th, the plane def had diff covers in Y and in W, im not sure if the Y seats were new. The PE seats were not, but Y was in a beage colour it looked rather dull compared to the old mixed colour seats

(BTW im colour blind so the colours may be a bit different)

Yeh all they doing on the LGW a/c is recovering the same old Y and W seats... they may look new but they just the same to sit on! Hopefully this is a temp measure!
