Austrian Airlines

A number of colleagues recommended Austrian Airlines route to Beijing via Vienna, really want to give a try. Business class return is less than 1400 pounds.[:p]

Has Austrian Airlines officially left FC? It has been taken off from the Airline Partners page on FC website, is this confirmed and from when?[:0]

Yes Austrian Airlines left Flying Club at the end of June this year.

I flew them SYD>KUL>SYD. Food in their Y cabin was great, served on china dishes with metal knives & forks (a la upcoming new VS PE service). Their IFE is rubbish though on their B777's. A really poor Odyssey type system that kept crashing all the time. You will also need one of those 2 pin head-phone adapters if you use your own headphones too. Overall cabin service was not that great either.
