Where was Wayne Rooney all that time last Summer then...or more like the last THREE years!

The point I'm trying to make is that Rooney hasn't put in the same performance (or goal tally) that he has at United into the England team.

Why he's not delivering - either down to over-rating, hype, over-expectation or he can't work with the rest of the squad - I do not know but as McClaren as proven by axing Beckham indefinitely and more recently not including Lampard in the Andorra game no-one is safe and I wouldn't be surprised if Rooney gets the chop when Owen et al are fit again. But then again I wouldn't be surprised if Rooney stays in the team and doesn't score for the next 5 years!!!

I understand that - but my point is that he just doesnt get teh same service or the same players around him tat he has at Utd - its like Giggsy playing for Wales!!

And as a Utd fan I dont want any of our players playing for England - yes club v country blah blah blah - but I follow my club!!

Off topic - FA YOUTH CUP

Uniteds young-un's have just beaten Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup 4-2 after extra time to take the tie 4-3 on aggregate ( having lost 1-0 at the Emirates) - it was a great game and sets up a 2 leg final against Liverpool on 16th and 19th April!!!!

Should be good!!

Not his fault - Van de Sar!!! - couple of recent aberrations, lets hope these are out of his system.

And as for the midweek European game excuse and stuff - Utd played away, for 60 minutes with 10 men whereas Chelski were at home and had all 11 on the pitch. I think that makes a difference.
