Hello Everyone ,
Just done my first flight back from New york !!
I must admit most of us are trying to get the service
right and make sure the customers are happy but this is going to take time.

The seat if you play with it for a while you can get it at the right angle , You first need to extend the head rest to the full out position and with the foot rest if you position it first down you can extend it out further and then bring the foot rest up .
the seat also has a armrest you need to put this down to get the full space etc ... It's very like J2000 but your never on the floor and you can get a good sleep you just need to be switched on :D

But for the Price what can I say it's good but its not as sexy as virgin ( but once the company makes a profit this might change) but its very nice and clean , Brown and silver and the crew are very polite as we are all trying to get our customers to come back !!

Also the divider between the two seat's is great and we keep the lights off on a night flight you can either have breakfast express on the plane or in the lounge . The lounge is one up from BA but not as good as Virgin but this is due to you can be at the lounge 30 min before dep .. and take your seat for take off , And you can have a breakfast in the lounge and shower when you arrive from EWR and they are looking into customers having the option of dinner in the lounge like Virgin . It's very like Virgin but a little simple in product but it does the job and you should get off the plane with a smile .

peartree...

Do you, or anyone else, know what G-SJET was doing at MAN todya. IT touched down at around 10.30am ish and didn't leave while I was there (until around 3pm).

Or is this a newly-painted a/c?

BTW G-BRIF (soon to become a Silverjet craft) is still plying its trade with Thomsonfly, but for how much longer?

She is in Maintainence till sunday morning , I'll be on her this aftertoon.
The good news is I get a lay in as she departs Luton at 15:00 pm instead
of 10:00 am . So I'm writing this in bed :)

I would've got a photo but I was having a coffee in T1 at the time while it was raining.

Just seen this thread...

Well it looks exciting to try.

Are you enjoying it Peartree?

It will be interesting to see how Silverjet proceeds through the next 18 months or so.

Wish i was just a wee bit of an inch higher to apply for a job!

Do they have the same criteria as VS - and if so then why not try the doctors letter route as suggested previously - it never hurts to ask[y]
