I am planning a trip to NYC and follow by a stay in Toronto (YYZ) during August. I am looking for a one-way ticket between NYC-YYZ and apparently Delta flies that route however it is operated by Comair. After reading VA website that we can collect flying club miles on DL. Will I collect any miles on this Comair operated flight even buying ticket via Delta website in the correct fare code? There are also AA, AC and UA to consider.
Also in NYC, which airport is easiest to fly out of LGA or JFK? I presume is LGA (closer to downtown?)
Also any decent sites for cheap but decent hotels in NYC. A normal cheap decent hotels I have found is around £70-80. Anything decent for £50 at Travelodge standards?
