Virgin asks pax to bring torches on board

According to this, Virgin are asking pax on LHR-HKG flights to bring torches so they can read as VS are to keep the cabin lights permantley dimmed for the flight duration.

I have had to check a couple of times the date on the article as I thought it was an April fools at first, but seems not to be.

My money is still on the April Fool idea.

Unless, of course, pax bring wind up or solar powered, carbon neutral torches.
