I have been looking at the seat ratings for the LGW 747 and there are some comments regarding an IFE box for seat 77C.
Do all C seats have IFE boxes under the seat ?

We currently have 77A&C as that was all that was available upstairs, but I was wondering whether its worth moving across the aisle if seats become available.

We have 71 H&K on the return. Are these seats OK ? Again the seat ratings have mixed comments including that these are bulkhead seats [?] That can't be right.

Thanks

I went here http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Virgin ... -400_2.php
since its the same setup im flying next friday. Says they are under seats C and H so there really is no way around it assuming the diagram is correct. I also had questions about it being a bulkhead when I saw that on the diagram, it is clearly not by any means, perhaps someone who just did not know there facts. unless the map is wrong, which could be interesting. I'll let you know what its like up there when I get back from my trip. When are you flying, hopefully there is enough time for me to post a few pics for you when i'm back.

Oh ok I get what you are saying now.

I have no idea if there are IFE boxes under all the "c" seats, the only "c" seat I have been in was LOHR config and it was 70c so nothing in front of it to start with.

Let me get a hold of a couple of members that have been in the "c"seats and see what they say.

I always choose 79C on the LGW 747 and can say that I ceratainly do not remember there ever having been an IFE box under the seat in front. The thing with PE though is that even if there is an IFE box the only thing it would prevent you from doing is putting your carry-on under the seat as once the seat reclines and you get the footrest out your feet are not under the seat in front anyway![y]

I think the info on seat Guru is too"generic"[V]

Have a good trip on Friday, but dont get caught looking uder every "C" seat in PE!![:w]
