Great spot Nick. We are looking at June 2008, so we will keep an eye on these fares.

Sounds like excellent news - anyone here had first-hand experience of flying with them?

There should also be one from myself.

Just to save you the hassle, they are highly recommended, great service, lot's of room and loved using STN rather than LGW/LHR.

They were having some issues with delayed/canceled flight's, but that seems to be a thing of the past now.

In brief the price will be around that of a PE/WT+ fare, service is miles better.
Once it starts getting up to a Z level then it is getting expensive for what you get.

I was checking flight's for early next year, VS was $1900 pp, MY was $1300, no contest, ok no miles either but for me MY is better than VS PE and that $1200 saving goes along way to easing the no miles pain.

Nick

Thanks for the pointer. I've a cunning plan to celebrate a significant family year in 2008 in a little bit of style and this ups the likelihood of being able to achieve it without breaking the bank (or using the M25).

Thanks for saving me the hassle Scrooge! Have to admit I like to idea of flying from STN - much easier for me to get to than either LGW or LHR, even if no cheaper to park! Good to know their product seems to be as good as the hype and yes, am with you with the price versus easing the no miles pain. Thank you kind sir [:X]

This does now give me a problem as they now match my flight needs and I will be giving them a go.

So, given that (in VS' words) "there's no space to build any more lounges at LAX", I wonder what one MaxJet are planning to use... [:?]

Maybe Korean if they are flying out of Bradley, they use Koren's at JFK, basic but good.
