Mark, I really hope we win next Saturday. I love it when it goes down to the last Saturday of the season, though usually not with my team involved!:D

You have absolutely no chance of winning next Saturday because all the games kick off at 3pm on Sunday!!!

Just thought I would tell you so that you can still plan to go shopping on Saturday!! [y]

Hey, give me a break!;) I'm living in a country that is stuck in a time warp. I have no concept of hours, days or weeks anymore...aaagghhh [:p]

May the best team win (ie WestHam)

So ........ the champagne is chilling nicely!!

My Brother In Law and one of my friends are both ST holders at the Gooners, They were loving it, but not now!
Now all I need is for Chelsea to win the FA cup final and I will be happy, no Champions League for Salford Utd or Chelsea and no double for Salford either.[:o)][:o)]

I wonder, however, if this is the end for Jose Arrogantio?
£500 Million and only two cups....

Its not finished yet - there's still the relegation issues to sort - then the FA Cup, then Milan winning the Champions League final - by which time it will all be ready to start again!!

So no point really!!

Incidentally, according to the United website, we won't be presented with the trophy at Stamford Bridge on wednesday, and will get it in front of our own fans after the West Ham game on Sunday.

It's only presented away from home if there is no further home game after we have won it - hence the reason it was presented at Everton and Middlesbrough - we had no further home game at which to present it.

So to all you happy hammers - maybe a point will be enough and you can stay and see the trophy being presented - for the second time at OT - the last time being at the last match in which Eric Cantona played for United in a competitive game!

Just watching the Real Madrid Vs Sevillia game, absolute classic!
One of the Seville players warming up on the sidelines got a red card!
Fantastic goals, from Van Nistelroy and a seville player, Robhinio put Real 2-1 up then got sent off for excessive celebrations, thena seville player sent off for thumping a Real player in the goal mouth. Classic game!
Beckham just got booked and Van Nistelroy scores again!
real now only 2 points behind Barca

Now comes the burning question. How many of the Man.United "fans" posting on here actually live in or close to Manchester? I realise you will all be dedicated fans and will have seen them every time they have been on TV so please accept my sincere apologies if I have offended the die hard supporters who turn up on the settee every time they appear on Sky TV, no matter what the weather. Oh, and please not the old one of "I would go to Old Trafford, but all the season tickets have sold out for the next 740 years, so I can`t go". I realise the warm, personal feeling of achievement you must get by affiliating yourselves to a winning team, but I know of at least 11 Man United "supporters" who live near to me and they can`t even make it to the local away games where tickets are available.
Have the strength to support you local team boys, no matter how well they perform.

Paul,

Have to say I don't agree there. There are a great many Utd fans who live a long way from Manchester but still travel to see their team on a weekly basis. You don't have to live locally to be a 'true' supporter of a team.

Personally I support West Ham but now live 153 miles from the Boleyn ground and have still managed 17 games this season. Are you saying I should dump the last 32 years of supporting MY team and follow Bristol Rovers / City / Swindon?

I'd rather fall head first into a threshing machine! - of which there are plenty down this way!

Gee it seems to all be kicking off here!

Paul- dont quite agree with you. I think it is fair enough to say you can live anywhere in the world and follow a team. I follow Crusaders in rugby since living in NZ despite living some 11000 miles from Christchurch now and I always look at how the Magic are doing in the NBA and the Colts in American Football. What you do tend to get though, is a lot of yougner kids following the top team- but that is the price to pay for having marketing and sponsorship ruling the preimier league. I must admit I was shocked by the amount of Chelsea and Man U shirts in JJB yesterday...they were the only ones available!

Well Done Man U- cant believe I have just said that- but well done, after all its odd to think at the start of the year everyone was anti Ronaldo and he was leaving and this season he really did win it for Man U.....clearly been the best player in the world this year.

As for relegation- well cant believe that Charlton are down- they looked odds on to survive about a month ago. Good to see the Hammers sorting out their differences off the field.

Managers- well its all change hey- NEwcastle onto their 11th manager in 11 seasons which is shocking really.

So who will be the new chelsea manager?

I would be interested to see you try get tickets for Man Utd away games, wherever they are - I think you will find they are very hard to come by with Season Ticket holders usually taking the full allocation every game. Just look at the cup final - only 25,000 tickets available for MU fans, I know at least 4 Season Ticket holders who can't get a ticket for love nor money.
