When I looked 1 minute ago there were 5 of us logged online and I was wondering is it just me or am I getting really boring? A couple of years ago I would never have been at home on a Saturday night at 10..Then came children. Im watching tv, surfing the web, drinking G+T. Any one doing any thing more interesting whilst logged on ?

I am watching / listening to the Boston Redsox thrash the Baltimore Orioles on MLB.com Gameday and WRKO. I think that is more interesting, but am happy to accept I may be in the minority. ;)

It is certainly better than the Eurovision song contest, anyway. :D

Can you link to a good web site that explains Baseball ? I have a fairly good understanding of American Football but not Baseball. I see Baseball as quite a romantic sport (See Babe Ruth, Field of Dreams, Joe Di Magio).
PS I have read your web site with regard visiting America post 9/11 and it really broght it home to me with the line "they consider themselves under attack" when refering to immigration officials attitudes.

Well ny, I'm equally as boring. The only reason I didn't make the number up to six was that I chose to watch part of the EVSC - in other words I watched the Irish entry (and wished I hadn't) and watched the UK entry (and wished I hadn't) and then watched the voting (and wished I hadn't).

If it's any consolation to you the forum was significantly more active than last weekend when the world and his wife seemed to be away and the level of posting (and thereby entertainment for honey lamb) was much reduced. The problem is that when you live in a small town that is an attraction for stag and hen parties (as I do) the desire to go out on a Saturday night is non-existent [V]

Nick, do you remember a couple of years ago when the Sox played the Yankees in the World series. 3 nill down, then won the last 4 games on the trot. We were in Vegas at the time, and my wife was going crazy for the Sox. Mind, I am a Phillies fan, so nothing to shout about for me.[:I]
