Just found out I have to go to BKK in October and have a choice of several airlines to take but have got it down to between BA and Thai. I have never flown ThaiF or J but have BA Club . I have a choice of both of these airline and for an extra 700 euros on top of the Club price I can get into Thai F . I just know nothing about them and were wondering if any of you guys did? I looked up other sites but they all seem to be very biased in regarding to their reports.ANy info please would be great to help me make up my mind

Well I would go with TG First Class, just because, I don't find the BA CW very comfotable, and not long enough (I'm 6ft 4in) the service and food and seat will all be far better than BA! [y]

Go Thai F, flew them a few years ago the service was fantastic food a little bizarre but edible and they poured Dom[y].Think the F cabin has been redone as the seats were old massive arm chairs(which I personally love.)
What is the F fare Keith as we are heading to BKK later this year best I have found is over £4k.

Buy the TG First, hands down.

Better food, much better service, and at BKK, you'll never have to wait for a gate or sit in a barely-passable lounge. After all, you're going to Bangkok, and this is Thai Air we're talking about. Of course they're going to be better than BA on this route.

If you don't like Thai food, though, either fly BA or take along some nosh to eat...

Either TG biz or F, but not BA club given the competition:)

Edit: Just took a look at the TG website and I don't care how muuch it costs, you've got to go F;)

The seats are a similar shell style to J2000 in biz. PE on TG also looks very good with leg-rests (not just foot-rests) and 42 inches pitch!

I would go Singapore Air via Singapore in business and collect 16 TP in the process and have a stopover in Singapore on the way home.

What about Eva air, direct flights, new aircraft, new seats and decent prices for their premium laurel(BIZ)class it gets good reviews.
