Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I couldn't find anything. I have just realised checking my FF account that no Amex miles were credited this month, the last ones credited were 2 April. If I check my account on line (with MBNA) it also shows April/May as one statement.

Has this happened to anyone else? I'll just wait until next week and hopefully they'll just post 2 months together but just wondered.

No problem here, the miles for my April spends were credited to my FC account on the 30th April and my online account has separate statements for April and May.

Why not give MBNA a call on the freephone number on the back of the card, I have to say I have found them ultra helpful with every problem/query I have had.

Thanks Neil - TBH I've only just noticed and thought as I'd been away it maybe something I'd missed on here. My miles usually get added on the first or second day of the month, so it's only another week to 1st June and I'll check the account then and if not enough miles are posted I'll give them a call.

In the meantime I've got enough miles to do anything we need to do and trying to get my brain around spending a companion ticket, two PE upgrade vouchers and up to 300K miles for a big family trip! I'm not complaining though.

Your not the only one Jilly. My miles have also not yet been posted and I also did not receive a statement for April, (even though I had a balance), just one in May.

I do recall receiving a letter a couple of months ago from MBNA stating that my statement date would be changing, can't remember the reason why, so I guess the late credit of miles has something to do with that. I'll give it to the end of the month to see if they are credited before ringing them.

Did you get one of these letters as well?

Unfortunately I've got mountains of paperwork to sort through after being away for so long although certainly hadn't received one by the middle of April.

Just checked and 1st June miles have been added but still none for May.

Looks like a phone call to MBNA - deep joy

I did not get an April statement at all. My May statement included my April and May transactions and the points for this were credited to my account on 1st June. Did you get a seperate statement for April?

Sorry Graeme only just read your post.

No I didn't get a separate statement for April - but can see that I am still a lot of miles short, as I have separated the amounts according to the payment made on my bank statment. I was only creditd 2,900 miles this month which ties in with my May spend of around £1500. However, I spent an awful lot more in April (nearly £5K) and I haven't had the miles for those.

Still waiting on an MBNA supervisor to get back to me at the chap I spoke to didn't understand the issue.

Good luck Jilly, why they can't just "get things sorted" I'll never know.

As a side point I've spoken with MBNA 3 times today and have been given 3 different answers to a question. They're muppets.

I didn't get a May statement - but assume this is because I'd asked for a change of payment date, and certainly all my transactions are included in June's account. Annoyingly though, I'd asked for the date to be changed to 11th of the month, but it's been changed to 16th... no idea why. Additionally, neither of us has received our hard copy of June's statement. I can pay it online if necessary, but am thinking the paper copy should be here by now. Another all to MBNA, methinks....[:(!]

There are times I am so happy that VS do not offer us a US mbna amex card here in the US :D[:w]...so much easier to deal with amex direct [:I]

Had my June statement miles added to my FC account 30/6 even though on hadn't at that stage paid the ballance..... is this right? I would have thought the miles would be creditted once the bill had been paid?

No, miles are always added to your FC account around the last/first day of the month after your statement date, irrespective if you have paid your balance or not. If you don't pay MBNA don't withhold your miles they just charge you lots and lots of interest instead[B)]
