All things being equal... where would you stay?

I'm looking at a booking where the following room options all come in close enough in price to make them equal. Where would you (and where wouldn't you) stay;

THEhotel: Hotel Suite
Signature MGM: Junior Suite
Wynn: Resort Room
Bellagio: Lakeview Room
The Mirage: Premium Room
Caesars Palace: Classic Room
Four Seasons: Standard Room

Any reasons for your preference would help me narrow down the choices!

Wynn, as a hotel GUEST. It's the only hotel I would consider is built around the guests, rather than the passers by.

Have to agree...though there is a room class at Ceasers that has a tub that fills from the ceiling...can't find a picture.

The classic rooms there suck...should just be called old and we are to cheap to update them.

What about Signature at MGM?

Oh and had a chance to stay at the 4 seasons standard room...think the Strats standard room is just as nice...kind of shocked at how ordinary it was actually .

And the Four Seasons is right down the bottom end of the strip....

... ah hold on, I can se the logic there as that is the furthest hotel in Vegas away from Scrooge! [:p]

Isn't every room a suite at the Venetian? The two level split suites....

Not sure I'd pay 25% more than what is likely to be pricey rates already, but then I am a tight-wad.

I'm biased toward Mandalay/THEHotel and I like Four Seasons there as well. But the Wynn is outstanding, and much closer to Dave's place.

Also The Venitian is one of the hotels on Priceline, you can get a good deal on there..I forget what the other high end hotel in Vegas is on there..check http://www.biddingfortravel.com

The Wynn. Across from the Fashison Centre or whatever they call the mall and The Wynn features The Buffet.

I'll second preiffer's comment. Not stayed in any of the others, but we enjoyed The Wynn last August. Try the code EMS07 at the Wynn site for a discount on rooms and $100 resort credit.

Are you talking about an earlier trip or the Nov trip. Although the Wynn does sound nice.

Bellagio, Wynn and Four Seasons are the only true 5 star hotels, Venetian comes close, Signature is good if you want some peace and quiet (non-smoking Pete, not that that bothers you now ).

I have yet to stay in the Wynn or the FS so of the ones I mentioned I would go for Bellagio.

Another vote for the Bellagio... based on..errr... one stay at the Bellagio.

FWIW, my choice for the past six or seven years has always been the Four Seasons. There's something about being able to get away from the gambling at least some of the time. And you never had to line up for anything there - check in, check out, concierge etc. Life's too short for queues in my book.

I think the "split level suite" at the Venetian is pushing it a bit. It really is a room, on two slightly different levels for no apparent reason, and it has a sofa.

My uncle swears by the Bellagio following his first stay there recently. That, I believe, is conclusive!

We were not impressed with the Bellagio at Xmas, housekeeping was terrible, and the standard rooms are nothing special. You also have to watch the mini bar, everything is pressure sensitive, you touch it, you pay for it.
Like the Signature alot, very big suites, and it smells new. TheHotel is on the same lines, but no atmosphere as it just blends in from Mandalay bay, but of course, you will have the best pool in Vegas. The Wynn just seemed like it had been designed by a guy that was losing his sight, (oh, thats right, it was) the room colours are too over the top for me.

No offence to anyone, but what's the poinbt of paying for al these fancy suites etc? Last time I was in Las Vegas, I stayed at the Luxor. Prices were good and it was a good sized room with two double beds etc - pretty much everything needed. Spent 95% of the time elsewhere anyway (even at night drinking and playing on the slots) so only really went there for a quick shower, toilet or to pick up/drop off bags for a few minutes.
It's like NYC - you may sllep a few hours there and that's really it - no point in paying loads for fancy bits you'll probably never get anything out of.
