I have to start my cabin crew training in this part of the world and have to pay for my accomodation and have no idea what its like.

1.I have only been able to find 1 b&b is this the only b&b in West Drayton?

2.Is there much in the town such as cashpoint machine, newsagent or grocery store?

3.What are the pubs like? Could a female just go in on her own and order grub?

If someone knows this place any tips??

Thanks,

Ger xx

I used to live in West Drayton, moved up the road to Hillingdon.

When do you start, I can look around for you.

There are a couple of pubs in Sipson and Hillingdon (just down the road from where you will be training, that you would not feel to bad alone in, wouldn't go for one in WD though. Not lonely female friendly.

I used to live in Slough and travel through West Drayton on the train to work everyday. Slough, while not amazing isn't too bad a place to shop. If you there over the summer I can recommend Windsor as a really nice place to visit and wander around. Or if you get really desperate you can visit Tesco in Slough - its huge! Seriously - they knocked down the old one and built this massive new version - can't be far off the UK's largest Tesco.

Depending where ... most of it is just fine, as has been mentioned you are not far from Iver and you have easy access to a good shopping area in Uxbridge and all the associated eateries etc....... and your training centre is a very easy drive away, no more than 10-15min even allowing for a bit of traffic.
