Hi All

I'm a recent member to V-Flyer, but have been flying VS ever since it started.

My question relates to getting into the clubhouse. Up until recently it was easy for us as we used our American Express Centurion (Black) cards. However, this perk no longer exists. We usually fly Premium, not Upper Class. I'm not a Gold member.

We've heard you can buy vouchers from Virgin Holidays for the Clubhouse
Is this true

Hi Peter, and firstly welcome to V-Flyer [y]

You can indeed buy vouchers from Virgin Holidays (subject to availability), but you also need to be buying your flights / package from them too.

You can buy entry at the door IIRC. With just one of us flying UC and thus only free entry for one other, we have been offered entry for £30. This was in Feb but I don't know if that only applies when travelling with an UC travelling pax[:?]

It's an offer available to Golds and people flying UC to keep parties together.

Welcome to V-Flyer Peter!

Yup, I thought it was £60...

£60 for LHR, £35 for LGW.

It is available to FVC members who have booked flights with VS (doesn't have to be a holiday). For non FVC members, I beleive you have had to have booked a holiday.

Thanks,
Richard

Richard, just for clarity, are you saying that anyone who has booked a VS flight through VS who is also a member of The Frequent Virgin Club (Virgin Holidays Loyalty Program for the uninitiated ;)) can buy access on the door subject to availability of course?

Is it just for LHR & LGW Clubhouses, or for any CH? I'd be interested in this next June when we're outbound to BOS in UC (no problem there) but returning from BOS in PE, would be so nice to try out the new BOS CH which opens this autumn!

Thanks

Only for UK ones James. There's no mechanism to allow access to a CH (or shared lounge) outside of the country unless you have another means such as PriorityPass.
