Ritz Carlton - Orlando

We have just returned from our vacation in Orlando / Barbados and I just wanted to say I thing the Carlton ion Orlando rates amongst the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Its simply perfect. The rooms are georgous , the reception area as beautiful as anywhere , the pool is fantastic etc. Its simply I feel the best there is to offer in the Orlando area. Its jopined in the same grounds to the JW Marriot which also looked very good indeed. If you are planning a 5* stay in the Orlando area I dont honestly think this will be beaten for quality, service etc.

I really enjoyed the Ritz as well, got a fantastic off season AMEX FHR rate <$300 for a club room.We had the pool to our selfs most of the time. food and service were top notch and one of the best Ritz club lounges.

Yes Jaguar , we used the Club Lounge for breakfast every morning - really good continental breakfast - we had booked a family room but it felt a bit crowded for the four of us for 7 nights so I asked at reception if they could do anything - they upgraded us for 120 usd per night extra into a suite(with club facilities) - it was amazing - but I reckon it would have cost us nearly that anyway for breakfast, so the 120 extra nearly paid for itself - we have a huge bed room with 2 double beds and then a large sitting room - 2 bathrooms - just amazing

Perhaps a large very nice Villa with all mod cons and a private pool may be better next time you visit[:I][:I]:D:D (It would definitely save you a few quid unless you wanted to pay the same as for the Ritz and in which case I would fly out and cook you breakfast each morning myself:D)
