Using Miles for Chauffeur

We are using miles to upgrade to Upper Class on our MCO-LGW travel. Does anyone have an opinion on whether we should also use miles to "hire" the VS chauffeur service from Gatwick to the hotel? Thanks

First things first, where is the hotel you're planning on getting the car to? It's key to the decision, as Virgin only offer CDCs for mileage to certain areas of the country now.

Also, if it's only down/up the road (or in central London via the Gatwick Express), you may find alternatives a LOT better value than using your miles for a short trip.

Well that would cost you in the region of $200+ so it might be worth it... you ARE on a reward flight?

Actually James, that's the link for revenue ticket CDC's only.

The link above is the one that has the specific rules (and boundaries, which are different) for reward cars.
