New Years Day

We are travelling on New Years Day 21:45dep and my wife has asked if everything will be available in The CH (LHR)?

I can't answer her having never travelled on N Y Day before, can anyone answer that please?

Surely, if there are VS flights leaving the airport, then the CH will be open.
I would imagine a passenger mutiny of pax checked in and found it to be closed.

One would hope everything is operational? Otherwise its change travel dates tomorrow?

The CH should be open in full, however if memory is serving me correctly there will be a reduction in flights, mostly to those airports with multiple flights, JFK etc

And of course it will be so much quieter in LHR and on the roads getting there.[y]

Wifey is worried she is not going to get her haircut[:0]

My concern is only for the bar to be open[:w][:w]

We travelled to MCO on New Years Day this year. LGW Clubhouse was open (so I assume LHR will be the same).Usual full service inside, with treatments and salon operational as usual and the staff were their usual pleasant selves.The only thing they didn't have was any fresh mint (for my mojito!!)and were very apologetic.It was surprisingly busy too.
