As one of our valued customers, you should be among the first to know. We are pleased to announce new international United Business with true flat-bed seats.

This fall, United's international premium cabins will begin a remarkable transformation, featuring the first 180 degree, lie-flat Business Class seat to be offered by a U.S. carrier.

When completely implemented, your flight experience will include personal 15" video screens, Apple iPod docks, cuisine by world-famous chef Charlie Trotter, and a wine list by Master Sommelier and Master of Wine, Doug Frost.

The airline you've long depended upon is becoming the airline you've dreamed of.

To view pictures, videos and learn more details about the United Business and United First experience, follow the trek at suitedreams.united.com.

They don't look bad at all. My only worry is, why would anyone now fly First with UA?

Possibly they will end international First like NZ, DL, AC, NW, CO, and VS.

Don't know about that, UA has a massive FF base, for which 1st is a great perk, however after looking at the pictures LINK (hate the marketing) they look like great seats/beds...can't wait for a TR.

Surely a major point there but AA has removed F on some long-haul aircraft. Wonder if these cabin improvements will lead to a true refresh to the Red Club Clubs? That would be major.

You mean, to stop them looking like HUGE elevators from 1970's hotels?

MMMmmmmm dark wood... What IS it with Americans, dark wood and "status"? [:p]

(OT: Once asked if I had any "status" with an airline over here - I said "yup, passenger, single")

I have a United C ticket for next March to GRU - This has just cheered me up big time...:D Nothing guaranteed but hey you never know!

Looks like the 767's will be getting the re-fit first up, UA must be planning to cover the 3 class 767's with some of the 2 class domestic config's while the re-fit takes place....:D

[b]A 767 is going in first, quickly followed by a 777 then a 747, I guess they are doing the refits when other MX issues are due.

Apple iPod docks are a perfect complement to those lovely big screens. I would just love it if VS introduced that.
