The food and facilities are great, althougn I find their twittering bird muzack a little annoying. There are showers, the chef comes round with their special and both times I've been there I've been approached by the concierge / duty manager to make sure everything is in order.

One of the best lounges I've been in. And I'd rate it above Virgin's SFO one !

Well I do not know how to get a link that works. I simply went to Google (TM) and 'googled' "air new zealand lax koru". The link I provided was the third hit.

Bascially there is a bunch of lounge info on loungeguide.net; picture, access details, and text details.

Talking like that can get you in serious trouble on this board [:p]

Well I have not used the Air NZ lounge yet, but anything has to be a big step up from the old AC lounge.

It's fantastic. One of my preferred lounges it has to be said. Food is very good, it's incredibly well lit, and you have control of the blinds to shield yourself from the cali sun.

Haven't used the showers or anything.

Oh, and it's great for celeb spotting. If you want a laugh, walk over the concourse to the Northwest Lounge, go in and ask a question. The difference could be measured in start magnitudes!!!!

One of my favorites as well, nice facilities, food good, staff nice, it is quite big and open so even when full is ok.

Thank you. I had scoured the TR section back over a year and there are very few reports of the LAX flight. This is helpful.

Ah, Ben - it's the brackets that are screwing it up. (Pete?)

Anyway, I've TinyURL'd it so this one should work.

There's also an official guide to the facilities in each, available here (330kb PDF).

Does anyone know if you can use the LAX Clubhouse if flying back in PE??

Only if you are a Gold card holder or a guest of a Gold or UC pax. PE on it's own does not admit to any VS Clubhouse or shared facility.

{edited to add; the shared Air New Zealand lounge at LAX T2 in not a Clubhouse}

Does the link to the 'official facilities website' relate to the old lounge, since the it mentions only 3 showers but the VF site talks about 6. Is everything else the same?
